On 8th December at a celebration held at The House of Commons, A host of highly accomplished IAB members and industry professionals were celebrated at the UK & International Business and Skills Awards 2016.
Natasha Penny (pictured with her award) was announced to be The Accountant of the Year 2016.

IAB states that “Accountancy talent doesn’t come finer than our award-winning ‘accountant of the year.’ This award recognises a professional or firm of accountants who have made an invaluable contribution to their clients.”
Natasha was nominated by a close colleague at her firm Busy Books and by client recommendation. She is thrilled to have been even nominated and narrowed down to two nominees (the 2nd being last year’s winner!) let alone winning the title! Her hard work, determination, and dedication to client care has been recognised in her receiving this award and her clients are equally delighted to know that their accountant is The Accountant of the Year!
Natasha started Busy Books just over 4 years ago with just 2 clients and based working around her young family at home. She now has an office of 4 staff in Bratton and have just sent out some 200 Christmas Cards to clients.
The firm were finalists in the Wiltshire Business of the year in 2014, have won various other customer service awards, and all 4 staff are trained to a high standard with ongoing professional development. A strong and personal company ethos is very apparent and a warm friendly welcome always waits on the end of the phone, email or at the office.
2017 will be an exciting year for the team as they close down for Christmas this week full of motivation, enthusiasm and anticipation for what the next year will bring.
